Jason Duval

Jason is the male half of GTA VI’s dual-protagonist pair. Per Rockstar’s official bio, he grew up around grifters and crooks, did a stint in the Army trying to shake off his childhood, and landed in the Leonida Keys — where he now runs drugs for local smugglers while telling himself it’s temporary.

What Rockstar has confirmed

He works for Brian Heder, an old-school smuggler who lets Jason live rent-free in exchange for dirty work. His closest friend in the Keys is Cal Hampton. The official story premise: “when an easy score goes wrong,” Jason and Lucia Caminos end up in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida.

The Extended Look (August 27, 2026) showed Jason in free-roam gameplay with dynamic character switching — the camera can fly between Jason and Lucia mid-exploration, and their relationship deepens through shared activities.

What is NOT confirmed
